The gate on the beach road will be open until 8:00pm on weekdays and will be locked at 10:00pm on weekends after September 7th. For safety reasons we ask that all members stop at the security gate whether you have guest with you or not. If you do have beach or tennis guest, please sign them up with the security guard at that time. After 6pm members who are 18 years old and under are requested to sign in at the gate and list the names of their guests. Also if you notice strangers walking on the grounds of the Club please notify a manager. Please do not approach the person yourself.
Please drive slowly (15mph) especially along the Beach Road and Beach Pavilion parking lot. Please watch out for children in the parking lots and please park in designated spaces. The Clubhouse will be locked and the security alarm set at 4:00pm on Mondays. For security reasons please use the main front door on Mondays the lower level doors will be kept locked.
Lightening Safety: If you hear one long blast, seek shelter immediately. An intermittent blast means it is ok to return.
Fishing: We have installed fencing at each side of the tide gate for your safety and protection while fishing. The Club does not want people fishing at waters edge along the banks of the lagoon or at the tide gate on the harbor side. In addition, we are trying to minimize the erosion along the banks of the lagoon. Please fish outside the fence areas. Parents are reminded that children under twelve require supervision when not involved in an organized Club activity.
Reminders
Please check the monthly calendar for course closings due to charity fundraisers and functions.
If a member or a guest has a serious medical problem they may keep a cell phone with them while on Club property. If a medical emergency arises, on the golf course for example, 911 can be called and directed to go to the front door of the clubhouse. The clubhouse should then be called to advise where the emergency is located, so a member of the clubhouse staff can guide the emergency vehicle to the site of the emergency. This is an exception to the rule that cell phones cannot be used on Club property with the exception of in the various parking lots.
In case of emergency the Club now has two AED Units on the premises.
Guests
It is Club policy that when introducing guests anywhere on Club premises the member must be present also. It is not permitted that guests use the Club facilities without their host member being in attendance.
Child Safety
Please do not leave your children unattended. The water is close, especially in the area behind the playground.
Pets
For everyone's safety and enjoyment, please keep your pet leashed while walking on the beach road. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, porch or near the pool. (please refer to your Club handbook)
Personal Property
We would like to remind members that you should protect your personal property. Members should not leave their valuables in the locker rooms or in their automobiles. Ignition keys should never be left in cars. Bicycles should be locked and not left overnight. The Club does not carry insurance on the personal property of members and is not responsible for loss or damage.
